American Councils in Latvia

The American Councils for International Education office in Latvia was established in September 2015. It is located in the city center of Riga, at Marijas Street 2a, Novira Plaza office building. The office is actively involved in administering various programs such as Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX), EducationUSA Latvia, Open World Program, Overseas Professional and Intercultural Training (OPIT), Title VIII Research Scholar Program, Rise and Iacocca International Internship Program (IIIP). 

The office team works closely with the U.S. Embassy in Riga and has established strong partnerships with other key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education and Science, American Corners, and local community organizations and associations across the country.

In addition, we have a group of dedicated FLEX Alumni who actively implement and develop various social projects, as well as share their experience and knowledge with others.
